The Oakoasis Preserve is only 24 miles from the Museum. This park’s hikes will lead you up boulder-studded hillsides on gentle trails, which lead to a spot overlooking the San Vicente Reservoir. Offering 397 acres of open space, the park’s trails are well marked and will ultimately connect with the Trans-County Trail system linking hiking trails from Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve.
