The Pacific Treefrog (Pseudacris regilla), also known as the Pacific Chorus Frog, is the most commonly heard frog in the western United States. It’s often found in aquatic vegetation near wetlands, open grasslands, gardens, and parks in suburban areas, and is one of the more common amphibians found in the Anza-Borrego State Park. It has a distinguishing dark eye stripe and can be either brown or green in color.
